Title Case vs Sentence Case
Title case capitalizes the major words in a heading. Sentence case capitalizes the first word and proper nouns, like a normal sentence. Both can be correct, but they feel different.
The Case Converter can quickly convert rough text into title case, sentence case, uppercase, lowercase, snake case, and kebab case.
When title case works well
- Article titles and guide headlines.
- Formal reports, ebooks, and presentation titles.
- Navigation labels where a more polished editorial tone fits.
When sentence case works well
- Product interfaces and settings labels.
- Help text, buttons, and instructions.
- Headings that should feel conversational and easy to scan.
For SEO titles and meta descriptions, capitalization is only one part of the job. Use the Character Counter to check length and keep the wording clear.
